Advocacy
Reaching Our Community
BW
Becoming Woman's Foundation endeavors to reach out and connect with the community at large. We encourage them to get involved - to ensure that the voice of girls in foster care and in underserved communities are heard and to help us change the narrative of the foster care system. At BWF, we strive to:
-
Teach the young women we serve how to advocate for themselves
-
Advocate for more involvement from the community in foster care, primarily in the Christian and African American community
-
Advocate for foster care resources and trauma-informed care in schools
Support
